Update.

Well I have to put in my first time sheet tomorrow, Jerid got quified for CDSC grant threw the county, now I am a 'payed parent'. Scary, first job in years and it's doing what I have been doing. What a world we live in. Jerid has been going to summer school and as far as I can tell he's doing well. We have been spending alot of time at Caribou in Chaska because it's so hot out side. The coffee shop is cheaper then most places, they have AC and they don't mind if you stay for hours. Jerid still is going to Kidtalk in Victoria, they have been focusing on writing for comunication, not speech. It's been working for the most part. I just wish the speeking didn't go so far to the way side. I guess whatever works right?

I will be signing Jerid up for bowling in the Special Olympics in the fall. I'm looking forward to see him compete. He likes doing it as far as I can tell, the giant smile says it all to me.

Justin and I are going to see a lawyer on Wednesday morning to know what to do next with the house in Carver. We want to move in, and I still think we should but we have to be legal and on the level about everything. I hope the lawyer tells us what we want to hear....Well heres to hoping.

Jim Henson, Rest in Peace, it has been twenty years since you have been on this earth, just so you know, you are still missed.

I'm trying to be writing more, knitting more, and sewing more, not to mention cleaning more. All of which are tireing. Jerid will be starting Bowling in the Summer Special Olympics soon, I'm excited for him, I think he might like it. If not, well we gave it a go. I'm also trying to get more active, moving more, in other words excersize. Sometimes easier said then done.

Taxes, Caribou Coffee, and life in general...

The tax season is almost over, and of corse we are the kinds of people who wait till the last minute, well at least if feels like it. Justin, Jerid and I are at the local Caribou Coffee. I'm glad Jerid is doing well, he likes it here, which makes me relaxed when I come here. The baristas are awesome and understand Jerid's limitations. which again helps alot. Justin and I have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off, when it comes to the Carver house, our own house, paying bills, dealling with taxes, Jerid's swim team requirements for the Special Olympics, and complications with his family. (I promised I wouldn't get into to much detail about that). I have signed up for Twitter, I don't know what I was thinking when I did it. I was just curious. I wouldn't say I'm hooked, but I wouldn't say I'm not. I've been taking more pictures of my dolls, and the Carver house, the weatherization people have finished the job, and a doll was a casualty of the whole mess. Which upsets us but not much we can do about it. We have to move on. One of these pictures is from a piano from inside the house, it's an Ivers & Pond, from the 1800's, which still works! It is a beauty, even though it needs to be tuned. Other pictures are of the reseading flood waters from and around Carver, MN... It is so close to summer, and it looking so pretty outside

Jerid's first compition for the Wild West Special Olympic team was the first weekend this March, and for the floatation device and assistant swim he had gotten first place!!!! So far anyone who has asked about it he gets a great big grin on his face and almost blushes! He is so cute! Unfortuatly I was unable to make it to the compition this month, but the up side is he will be going to State compition! The compitions are on the 9th and 10th of April and are at Southview school in Edina! Hope to see people there! In other news the house in Carver MN, is now being worked on! There was an upset once or twice but we are looking into keeping it going.

Happy New Year!!!!!

Jerid is back to school and has had a new Speech Therepist for awhile, Her name is Katy and He is doing well with her, She had more training with Speech Aproxia Kids. He is likeing being more active and assoiating words with actions, same amout of drills just more in the active world. Christmas was good to us. Jerid had gotten more Cars stuff, and hotwheel stuff then we know what to do with, but he is happy, that is what counts! (the picture above is at the Coffee Grounds Jan. 2, 2010. We were there seening the Feng Shui Ninjas play in concert!)

I still am knitting on Sunday nights in Chaska, since no knitters have come to join me I have been bringing my familly, the staff there is so awesome when it comes to Jerid, I like going there with him, and I'm still knitting.

Justin's bands have started the year off with a bang! They have four gigs this month alone, they are also gearing up for their next albums, to see more on his bands check out Feng Shui Ninjas.com or Beth Kinderman.com, or check them out on Youtube! His Dad is still in a home and we are working hard to to get the last bitt of money to fix his Dads house in Carver. All we need now is about ten grand to get the electricity and plumming done, then we can get the ball rolling, so we have been pretty busy.
